Why Choose Barmouth
There is something for everyone in Barmouth. There is the huge, sandy beach, the donkeys, trampolines, pirate ship. There is a small wooded area (the Wern) with pirate ship to explore. Tennis courts, multi-sports court, bowling green. You can go for walks. Take the ferry over the Fairboune and ride on the narrow gauge railway. There are walks up Dinas Oleu giving spectacular views over Barmouth Bay. Then there's the Panorama Walk with views back up the estuary. The promenade itself stretches for over a mile north and is served by a land train. There is a leisure centre with gym and plenty of exercise classes. And there are also plenty of places to eat and drink.

Many pubs have live music or karaoke. E.g. Sandbanks Hotel, Dubliner Bar, The Royal, Last Inn, Min y Mor. There are also events on at the Dragon Theatre.
